Shake It Up is an Indian sitcom which aired on Disney Channel India in 2013. The show is an Indian adaptation of the original American sitcom with the same name.
Shake it Up revolves around the misadventures of best friends Neel and Yash, who with the help of their longtime friend, Dheeraj,try to fulfill their favorite dreams of becoming professional dancers when they land roles as background dancers on a local show, "Shake It Up, Mumbai!".Neel and Yash deal with the circumstances, by adapting and maintaining their social status at school while watching over Neel's troublesome little brother,Ayush, All the while maintaining the competetion for the top dancers with their rivals, notably the twins, Manjot and Mandeep. The show also has side storylines which include adventures of Yash's elder brother Jai, who also has some impressive dance skills, Ayush and Dheeraj.
The show has a single season with 27 episodes, each with a running time of approximately 22-24 minutes.
